What Is A Peeling?

A peeling consists in the application of certain chemical substances on the skin achieving the elimination of the most superficial layers of the skin and enabling the treatment of unaesthetic flows such as scars, wrinkles, spots. Depending on the peeling chose, the skin is renovated to a certain level. The specialist is the most qualified person to tell you what the best type of peeling is for you to improve your appearance.

What Types Of Peelings Are There ?

Superficial peelings: These peelings are composed of low-aggressive such  acids such as glycolic acid and other alpha- hydroxy acids that improve acne and rejuvenate sun damaged skin in a non aggressive manner requiring very little recovery time.

Medial peelings: These peelings are composed of more active acids such as trichloroacetic acid at 25/30%. These peelings ablate the most superficial layers of the skin enabling the treatment of deeper lesions such as acne lesions and wrinkles. Recovery period usually last a few days.

Deep peelings: These peelings are composed of substances such as phenol or trichloroacetic acid at 50% and are employed in cases where less aggressive acids are not sufficient.
