ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Itching, a hot sensation or erythema can develop around the injection sites or headache. If post-operative recommendations are not followed after treatment there can be local diffusion of the toxin affecting other muscle groups, which can lead to undesirable side effects such as ptosis or reversible sagging or dropping of the upper lid (always reversible). No cases of systemic toxicity have been reported.
